Vaši učenci se vsak dan odločajo in upamo, da so se vsi danes odločili, da pridejo v pouk. To bi bilo zanje morda "brez odločitve"; nekaj različnih ljudi poskrbi, da so vsak dan v šoli. Obstajata še dve vrsti odločitev: kratke in razumne odločitve. Ali bodo dvignili roko v razredu ali ne, je "odločitev naenkrat". Morajo se hitro odločiti, preden kdo drug dvigne roko. Ta odločitev se običajno sprejme brez premisleka o posledicah ali rezultatih. Domače naloge po pouku ali med kosilom so "razumna odločitev". To je zato, ker tehtajo svoje možnosti in izberejo najboljši možni rezultat. Ali naj doma opravim domačo nalogo v šoli, medtem ko jem, da si lahko kasneje ogledam film ali pa to počnem ponoči po večerji doma?

V tej dejavnosti bodo učenci ustvarili zgodbo o zgodbah, ki prikazuje tri vrste odločitev. Ustvarjanje vizualizacij bo študentom pomagalo pri navezovanju vsebine in ohranjanju informacij. Če jih vprašate, da prikazujejo odločitve, ki so jih sprejeli danes ali v zadnjih dneh, bo aktivnost okrepila drug učni cilj. Dejstvo, da sprejemajo odločitve vsak dan, lahko olajša pritisk in jim vloži zaupanje pri sprejemanju takšnih posledičnih odločitev, kot je na primer prijava na fakultete ali zavrnitev pritiska na vrstnike.
