El Salvador's flag has blue and white stripes. The blue represents the sky and the two oceans that border Central America. The white represents peace.

El Salvador has beautiful beaches like El Tunco Beach. It is also called the "Land of Volcanoes" because it has over 100 volcanos!

Popular music in El Savador includes Salvadoran Cumbia, hip hop, salsa, and raggaeton. El Carbonero is traditional folk music. Chanchona, which means "big pig" ,is traditional music that uses the double bass!

Some local customs includeparades and festivals with flowers for holidays such as saints days, Easter, and on September 15th: Independence Day!

Typical foods are: Pupusas,Yuca Frita, Tamales, and Pastelitos!
