Activity Overview
At the beginning of your wellness unit, you should introduce the 5 aspects of wellness. In this activity, students will use a spider map to define and illustrate an example of each area of wellness. This will help students visualize each aspect and provides a resource for students to look back on for future activities.
- Wellness - a person’s ability to be free of illness while able to achieve goals.
- Physical Wellness - ability to perform tasks and avoid illness.
- Emotional Wellness - ability to recognize internal feels and address them.
- Social Wellness - ability to build and maintain positive interpersonal relations.
- Intellectual Wellness - ability to comprehend desired knowledge.
- Spiritual Wellness - ability to understand purpose for actions and decisions.

Student Instructions
Create a storyboard depicting and describing the five aspects of wellness.
- Click "Start Assignment".
- Title each cell with the name of each aspect of wellness. Define the aspect in your own words.
- Illustrate an example of each aspect in the appropriate cell using a combination of appropriate scenes, characters, and items.
