Storyboard Text
King Midas is very wealthy and loves his gold even more than his daughter, Marigold.
King Midas is overcome with joy when he realizes everything he touches turns to gold.
King Midas begins to worry when he cannot eat or drink because his food and water turns to gold.
The King is overcome with dread when he turns his daughter into a golden statue. The King finally realizes the consequences of his greed.
The King begs for the fairy to reverse what he has done. King Midas runs to the spring to collect the water that will return his daughter to normal.
