Activity Overview


One fun way to expand on a novel study is by creating a book jacket cover! In this activity, students will create a book jacket for Refugee They should include a summary of the story, a cover image that includes important attributes and characters from the book, a biography of the author, and critic's reviews!

Due Date:

Objective: Create a book jacket for Refugee.

Student Instructions:

  1. Click "Start Assignment"
  2. Using the template provided add a summary of the story on the left side.
  3. On the right side create a cover image for the story that includes important attributes and characters from the book.
  4. Underneath the summary write a short biography of the author.
  5. Add a critic's (your own!) review of the story.
  6. Save and exit when you're finished.
