At the beginning of the year, it is so important to create a classroom community where students feel seen and heard. An "All About Me" activity is a popular back-to-school practice that allows students to share information with the class about their families, their likes, interests and hobbies in an effort to find commonalities and celebrate differences. This activity combines students' love of social media with an All About Me activity by using the StoryboardThat creator to make a poster that looks like a social media page. Students can choose a fun handle, write a simple bio at the top and create up to 12 different scenes that describe their life and their different interests.
