- How does the Holy Family help us know andlove God?
- I began to explain to the kids that the Holy family is a perfect model for us and our own families. The Holy family shows us how to live and grow in holiness and how to provide support and bring success to our family members. Afterall, our family is always here for us and it's important to communication and show love, just as Joseph and Mary did for Jesus. Mary Said "Yes" to God when she was blessed with Jesus. Joseph was a remodelfor all fathers and people through his actions and decisions. And of course Jesus, who shows us how to live a virtuous and honest life to come closer to God. Let's start today by learning more about Mary.
- Good morning children! Today we are going to talk about the Holy Family. Does anyone know who the Holy Family is?
- I know! Is that Mary, Joseph and Jesus?
- Once the students told me what they knew about Mary, I continued on. "Mary's parents, Anne and Joachim, were actually chosen by God long before Mary was even born. God chose Anne and Joachim to be the parent of Mary who would be without sin. This means Mary was perfectly created in God's image so that one day she may be the one who brings Jesus into the world."Mary's holiness can virtues help to influence our own faith journey. She teaches us that even when it is difficult, God will give us the courage to follow His will. We can learn more about Mary by reading the bible and thinking of how she showed her love for God throughout her life.

- Good! Let me tell you more about Mary and Why she is so important to know about.
- Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favour with God. And now, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High.
- "And yes, just like you said, Mary was visited by an angel. The angel Gabriel told her not to be afraid and that she would be the mother of the saviour. He said the baby would be the Son of the Most High and the Holy Spirit would bless her with child and the child would be named Jesus.""Mary chose to say "Yes" to God's will and we learn that she is faithful to God and trusts Him and His plan."

- I continued on, "Josephcan inspire us to live virtuous lives. Hewas a kind and compassionate man who, even though he felt betrayed and hurt, he did not want Mary to be publicly humiliated. He was humble because he didn’t need people to know hewas righteous. Joseph teaches us to trust in God; be compassionate and use our free will to followGod’s commandments. "
