  • Why 'Not Guilty' the knife was unique, it had to be his.
  • The knife wan't unique, I have one.
  • In this scene, the foreman is explaining to the Jury members that if they come up with a verdict of guilty the law requires the kid who is on trial to be sent to the electric chair.

  • The woman who said she saw the murder was in bed and she wears glasses. She would have had to put them on and looked through the train right as the murder happened!
  • After the foreman explains the outcome of the guilty verdict the Jury decides to vote on a verdict based on the evidence that they have heard in court. Everyone on the jury except for juror eight vote guilty.

  • Well she could of slept with her glasses on... Actually no one would do that.
  • When the point of the "unique" knife that was in the father's chest when they found him dead came up. Juror number eight pulled out an exact replica of the knife proving that the knife seller's testimony was invalid.

  • According to the old man's testimony, the old man heard the boy "I'm going to kill you" and then he went from his bed to the door where he said that he saw the boy. When they recreated the length of the apartment here the old man lived, and Juror number eight did the walk-in forty-one seconds when the old man who had trouble walking was supposed to do it in fifteen seconds.
  • So how did the old man do it in 15
  • The woman who testified who said that she saw the murder, from across the street while she was in bed wore glasses. This might seem a little unimportant, but people don't sleep with their glasses on, so she wouldn't have been able to see it since she was in bed without her glasses on.
  • The final vote has the boy's verdict is not guilty, since there is reasonable doubt as to whether or not the boy killed his dad. Due to the arguments that happened in the juror's room, everyone was swayed to the verdict of not guilty.
