- I don't think my mom will let me spend the night right off the bat.... maybe if I just ask to hangout first then ask later, she will say yes
- Hey mom, would it be okay if I go over to hang out with Alex for a little while?
- Sure! I don't see why not. I want you back home at curfew which is 10 pm
- okay so I know my mom wouldn't off agreed to let me spend the night right away so I asked if we could just hangout first then later i plan on asking about the sleepover
- that's such a good idea!
- since its 8 pm I'm going to try and ask my mom about spending the night
- hey mom! would it be okay if I spent the night at Alex's? we are having a really good time.
- Mom: I guess so since you are already over there and having fun
