- Today, James will be baking chocolate chip cookies for a Christmas party coming up at work.
- First off, James is wiping off all his countertops with a bacteria cleaning solution so that the counters are not germ infested.
- Now that James has wiped down all his counters, he is going to wash his hands in hot, soapy water for at least 15-20 seconds.
- James is then going to measure out all his ingredients, including milk, eggs, sugar, flour, etc.
- Now that all the ingredients are combined, he will mix them together in an electric mixer. James must be sure to keep his fingers away from the beaters while the mixer is in action.
- Since the dough is now ready to be rolled into spheres and put onto the nonstick pan to be baked, James must be sure that he does not eat the raw dough because he could risk getting a foodborne illness, like salmonella.
- While James was rolling out the cookie dough, he dropped some on the kitchen floor. He is going to clean the spill up immediately with necessary products, like paper towels, a broom and a cleaning solution.
