Week 4 Reflection

- Week 4 started with me being determined to master new skills and meet all the deadlines in spite of a busy workweek.
- Being someone who has a preference for visual learning and colour, I enjoyed learning about visual design principles and the theory behind it.

- It was good to be reminded of how much more I could do with PowerPoint than boring old presentations by being more playful and outcomes-oriented.

- But alas, the week took its toll and I had to work late nights to meet the deadlines. By the time I had to do Activity 2, it seemed that my creativity had left me altogether and I struggled to think of a good idea for a game!
- Nevertheless, I implemented one of the tricks from last week by inserting an explanation on how to access recordings in Collaborate into my current EUP course using ScreenCastify. So easy and so rewarding! And although I experienced stressful moments this week I am learning new things and that is exciting and empowering.
- I have learned to persevere and am inspired to focus more on creating visually appealing and effective learning tools for my students. I want to try and get a headstart for Week 5 as I am going away for 5 days.
