- One of the Cobras is thinking of jumping and scaring Mars Bar. "Geronimo!" Yells the Cobras. A Cobra jumped and scared Mars Bar out of nowhere.
- Maniac reads the mean note someone left him. Maniac realized that stores were not open yet so he went back home early and saw the message. "Stores aren't open yet. Maniac tells Amanda.

- No one shows up to Grayson's funeral. Maniac feels sad because he thought maybe at least someone would arrive. "Give it two more minutes, then we'll see." Says the funeral man.
- The Cobra boy laughs and Mars Bar gets scared. "Ya see him jump, I never seen...I never....see his face. Says McNab. McNab makes fun of Mars Bar and Maniac tells him to stop but he doesn't.
- Maniac feels hurt and goes away even if Amanda tells him not to. "You can't listen to that old coot." Says Amanda. Maniac still went away from Amanda Beale's home.
- Maniac did not want to wait to find out what would happen next so he ran away. "Hey, Kid!" Yells the funeral man. But he did not stop running.
