Hi! In this comic, I will be talking about how I learned how to skateboard.
Social Learning is learning by example.
In the beginning I had no clue what I was doing so I learned through a type of learning identified as 'Social Learning'

I observed my dad multiple times when he was skateboarding so I could do it myself one day.

When I thought that I was good enough to try skateboarding on my own, I fell. I wasn't ready so I had to look back into my memories for what I observed.
As I kept practicing my skills to get better, my brain goes through the process of procedural memory. It's where memories are stored in for how things are done.
These memories are stored in the hippocampus of our brain which allows us to remember information or personal events from long ago.
Our cerebellum play a vital role in balance control, coordinated movement, visually guided movement, as well as motor skills.
I was able to observe, fail, learn, and succeed in evolving skills in skateboarding through many processes.
Through the work of social learning, procedural memory, hippocampus, and cerebellum, I was able to learn how to develop skills in skateboarding.
Even after a long time of not practicing, I am capable to recall and do the skill as it is stored in my long term memory.
