The International Student's Struggle

- Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there was a group of international students who came to study at an American university. Sarah was one of them. They were excited to learn new things, meet new people and experience a different culture in a brand new country!!
- They were stressed, exhausted and frustrated. Which is very very understandable.
- Sarah and her international students friends worked hard, day and night, to pay their tuition fees, but it seemed like they were never going to catch up!!! They couldn't afford to go out and have fun, or even buy the textbooks they needed for their classes.
- One day, Sarah and her friends decided to speak up and find out why the tuition fees were so high. They learned that the university had to pay for expensive facilities, research projects, and professors' and staff’s salaries. They also learned that the government did not provide enough funding to universities, which forced them to rely on tuition fees. The International students understood the reason for the high tuition, but there was one thing that was still bothering Sarah: Why Can’t universities and colleges distribute those costs equally among ALL the students that attended the university?
