- We have to go into hiding. Hitler wants to kill all us jews.
- The Franks went into hiding with their father's friend. They lived in their attack and left a false trail for the Nazis (Hitler's soldiers) to follow.
- We're going to have to stay here for a while. The trail should keep us concealed for long enough
- *Writes in diary about the troubles her family is experiencing*
- Two years later an undisclosed source exposed the Franks to Nazi officers.
- Get on your knees! You're coming with us! If you struggle we will shoot!
- The Franks were all taken to concentration camps. Anne and Margot died of Typhus. Their mother passed away as well. All shortly before their camps were liberated. However, Anne's father Otto Frank made it out alive. His camp was liberated in 1945; shortly after Hitler committed suicide.
- I have to publish Anne's diary. To inspire those who have lived through these times. So this war will never happen again.
- And so, Otto Frank published his daughter's diary in 1947. Which went on to be a viral statement of bravery and courage.
