Öykü Penceresi Metni

  • I am Saladin, and I drove back the crusades in my homeland.
  • I am William Wallace, and I fought for the freedom of my people.
  • I was able to retaliate after my loss to the British, still being able to drive them back and defend Palestine. Meanwhile, you were killed in your attempts.
  • I did not lose to the British and I was not "killed." I died with honor even though being drawn and quartered, I was still respected by my countrymen.
  • Calm down Sir William, there is no need to draw your weapon. At least we can agree we are proud and fought for our homelands and countrymen.
  • I apologize for my decision to turn to violence so fast, but you just offended me there. But, yes we both fought for our freedom whether it be from slavery or tyranny.
  • I feel the most interesting fact I learned from my research would either have to be that Wallace had a sword almost half the size of him (which I tried to portray in the comic) or that even though Saladin was a general and fought in many battles he died by natural causes (it was a fever).
