- Hello I'm john Locke and i was a philosopher from the Enlightenment and i thought that everyone was born as a blank slate and that we grew through experience cause we are all different.
- and that a social contract is used to protect us but give up some rights in the process.
- I also think that in the state of nature there is no rules, people in charge and no one able to protect your natural rights.
- Lastly, i believe that peoples natural rights would be; life, liberty, and property.
- Good should be simply that of desiring it, and avoiding evil.
- Hobbes believed that in man's natural state, moral ideas do not exist.
- The purpose of government  is to protect our state of nature rights to life, liberty, and property!
- Locke believed that there are three natural rights. Life, everyone is entitled to live. Liberty, everyone is entitled to do anything. And property, everyone is entitled to own all they create or gain.
