Olivia has an EE math test tomorrow and is worried because she did not study. She begins to look at the study guide and answers EE multiple choice questions. She shows her work and uses RAISE and SPACE.

- I haven’t even studied and this is the hardest topic all year!!!!
- I have an EE math test tomorrow and I do not know if I will pass! My overall grade is an 86.
- I wonder what grade I will have to get to stop my grade from dropping?
- If I got a 87 on my last major what will I have to get to move my average up to an 90?
- Mean = average = 90 = (x + 87) ÷ 2 x + 87 = 18 x = 180 - 87 x = 93
- Now that I know I have to get at least a 93 on my test, I can study. It is 7pm and if I study for the next 2 hours, I might be able to pass the test.

- RAISE
- Use RAISE because it is a multiple choice question. Use SPACE because it is and EE question. Only use the C in SPACE because we are combining like terms.

- Olivia realizes that she can not get less than an 93 on the test. She tries her best to study. (This is an additional math problem but it is not the one my comic is about)
