- Next to define the type-1 diabetes, it is a diabetes that is formerly known as Insulin-dependent diabetes. it is called that way because the pancreas in our body failed to produce insulin that we needed. therefore, we needed to inject insulin so that our glucose level will be normal.

- That is right nurse john. In addition, the reason why the pancreas was not able to produce insulin is because the immune system attacks the cell that is responsible in producing insulin and 90% of it was destroyed.
