- After taking a month’s compassionate leave after the death of her husband and boss. Amelia Fox Returned back to the STU, (Special Forces Unit). The team had come to terms with the death of their leader but Amelia still couldn’t handle it. Her husband’s Sister Dawn Morris, Worked at the unit too. However she was dealing with his loss a lot differently.
- Dawn jumped straight back into work and whenever anyone told her to take a break or she if she’s okay. She would just say, “I’m fine.” Dawn was short and sweet and didn’t want anyone taking pity on her, because she was avoiding the subject. She hadn’t even been to visit his grave yet.
- Amelia had been down there every day, Through the sun rain and the wind, Amelia Fox never failed to visit her husband. No matter how much it made her cry.
- As Amelia approached the office door, she took a deep breath and brushed her ginger hair behind her ear and shoved it open.
- Immediately, all heads turned to face her. The second in command Lieutenant Lisa, Loveday, stood up from her desk and walked straight over to Fox, as she was often called. Looking at Fox’s destressed brown eyes with a half-smile, Lisa leaned in for a hug, holding her tightly.
- I missed you Fox.
- I missed you too
- Are you sure you're okay to be here?
- I’m fine Lis’, I just need a distraction.
- Next in line to welcome her back to the office was Dawn.
