- כָל ־הָאֲנָשִׁ֗ים הָרֹאִ֤ים אֶת ־כְּבֹדִי֙ וְאֶת ־אֹ֣תֹתַ֔י אֲשֶׁר ־עָשִׂ֥יתִי בְמִצְרַ֖יִם וּבַמִּדְבָּ֑ר וַיְנַסּ֣וּ אֹתִ֗י זֶ֚ה עֶ֣שֶׂר פְּעָמִ֔ים וְלֹ֥א שָׁמְע֖וּ בְּקוֹלִֽי־יִרְאוּ֙ אֶת ־הָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֥ר נִשְׁבַּ֖עְתִּי לַאֲבֹתָ֑ם־because all those men that have seen My glory and My signs that I did in Mitzrayim and in the desert, have tested Me these ten times, and have not hearkened to My voice;surely they will not see the land that I swore to their fathers, (Quote 7)
- Hashem explains the new plan in more detail. People from ages 20 -60 will die in the desert.Women, Children, Moshe & Aaron, Calev & Yehoshua, and more get to go in the land All after 40 years
- בַּמִּדְבָּ֣ר הַ֠זֶּה יִפְּל֨וּ פִגְרֵיכֶ֜ם וְכָל ־פְּקֻדֵיכֶם֙ לְכָל ־מִסְפַּרְכֶ֔ם מִבֶּ֛ן עֶשְׂרִ֥ים שָׁנָ֖ה וָמָ֑עְלָה אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֲלִֽינֹתֶ֖ם עָלָֽי Your carcasses will fall in this desert, and all counted of you, according to your number, from twenty years old and up, who have complained against Me; (Quote 8)
- The spies get their punishment, Hashem struck them with a plague.
- הֵם חָטְאוּ בְלָשׁוֹן, וְנִשְׁתַּרְבֵּב לְשׁוֹנָם עַד טַבּוּרָם וְתוֹלָעִים יוֹצְאִים מִלְּשׁוֹנָם וּבָאִין לְתוֹךְ טַבּוּרָם, לְכַךְ נֶאֱמַר בַּמַּגֵּפָה they had sinned with the tongue, so their tongues extended to their navels and worms came from their tongue and entered their navels; therefore, it states, they died by the plague,(Quote 9)
- מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶת ־הַדְּבָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֔לֶּה אֶֽל ־כָּל ־בְּנֵ֖י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיִּֽתְאַבְּל֥וּ הָעָ֖ם מְאֹֽד: And Moshe spoke these words to all the children of Yisrael, and the people mourned greatly. (Quote 10)

- A group of people called "The Stubborn Ones" go up a mountain to get to Israel.
- הִנֶּ֗נּוּ וְעָלִ֛ינוּ אֶל ־הַמָּק֛וֹם אֲשֶׁר ־אָמַ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה כִּ֥י חָטָֽאנוּ We are here, and we will go up to the place of which Hashem has spoken, for we have sinned. (Quote 11)
- Moshe tries to stop them but they go anyways. They get killed by the Amalaki and Canani
- אַֽל ־תַּעֲל֔וּ כִּ֛י אֵ֥ין יְהוָ֖ה בְּקִרְבְּכֶ֑ם וְלֹא֙ תִּנָּ֣גְפ֔וּ לִפְנֵ֖י אֹיְבֵיכֶֽם Do not go up for Hashem is not among you, and you will not be cut down before your enemies.(Quote 12)
