- The Pharaoh has changed good and evil according to his own interests, that even the murder of an innocent child has become good to him. God turns Pharaohs evil upside down. An Israelite mother throws her boy into the Nile river but in a basket. The basket then floats safely, right down to the Pharaohs family. He is then named Moses
- WHAT A BEAUTIFUL BABY ! I'm going to call him Moses
- The baby Moses, then grows up to eventually become the man that God will use to defeat Pharaohs evil. God appears to Moses and orders him to go to Pharaoh and command him to release the Israelites. And God knows Pharaoh will resist and so he will bring his judgment on Egypt in the form of plagues.
- Okay God. I will obey you
- I am God. I order you to go to Pharaoh and command him to release the Israelites.
- In Moses and Pharaohs first encounter, it simply told that Pharaohs heart grew hard. In response, God sends the first 5 plagues. Each one confronting Pharaoh and one of his Egyptian Gods. And each time Moses offers a chance for Pharaoh to let the Israelites go but Pharaoh would not agree.
