- Almost there To Virginia to make a colony
- Samuel, Reverend Hunt, Richard, and James got on a boat.Samuel got on the boat because he tried to steal his moms locket.He got caught and got stuck on a boat with all the people and gentleman. They are on the boat to go to Virginia to start a new colony and make money for the Virginia company.
- Hey we are friends right.
- Captain Smith waited for some wind. Then started to sail and it took over 4 months to get to Virginia to start a colony.Then the Powhatan Indians attacked and a lot of people got hurt. Some died like James did. Samuel was super sad. He thought that he should of held on the James leg harder and should of not let go.
- Hi i am Pocahontas nice to meet you.
- Hi i am Samuel nice to meet you too.
- They finally got to Virginia to start a colony. They set up the tents and fire. They made it feel like home. But once they finished setting up the Indians attacked then they made a palisade to protect them. They put the wooden sticks close together so the arrows won't go through.
- Then Captain Smith taught Samuel the Algonquin language. Captain Smith said it is more powerful then a musket. It helps when they want to trade. So they would understand him. Also when they try to fight he can tell them that we won't hurt them. We will leave them alone.
- They said they were here to trade so we traded. Then the chief of Powhatan brought a little girl with him. Her name was Pocahontas. When she came she looked through Reverend Hunts bible. She was about the age of Samuel. They got along together well. She messed around with him. Like when she was playing with a razor and pretended to shave herself. Then their houses caught on fire and then Pocahontas said she will bring food for them.
- So Pocahontas and Samuel got together well. Then everyone got settled nicely. then it was time for nigh time so everyone went to sleep. But while captain Smith was asleep someone lit captain Smiths gun powder bag on fire and he got big burns on his thighs. Also Samuel stole Anns baby and got sent to jail.
