That means that when someone says they do not want to do or participant in what you have asked, you respect there decision of not giving you consent.

After reading through and seeing what consent does not look like, here's an example of what it does look like.
As you can see, the character respects the others decisions and does not force him to do something he is not comfortable with.
It is always ok so say no to something you do not feel comfortable with. Others should always respect your opinion.
