- I don't think Macbeth will kill King Duncan because he is too kind. I wish I was a man then I would kill him myself.
- Slayt: 2
- ''I don't understand, what do you mean? Duncan is King?''
- ''Macbeth you will be King! Banquo your children will be kings!''
- Act 1 Scene 3The three witches meet with Macbeth and Banquo. They tell Macbeth that he will become Thane of Cawdor and King of Scotland. The witches tell Banquo his children will become kings as-well. The Witches vanish.

- My children will be kings?
- ''Great job Macbeth! I am making you Thane of Cawdor and my son Malcolm will be my heir.''
- Wow! I am going to be the next King!
- I should be the next king not Malcolm!
- ''Thank you, King Duncan. I was just doing my job.''
- Act 1 Scene 4Macbeth and Banquo meet with King Duncan. Duncan thanks them for their part in the battle. King Duncan says his son Malcolm will be the next king. King Duncan says they will visit Macbeth's castle and celebrate.

- Act 1 Scene 5Lady Macbeth reads a letter from Macbeth about the witches predictions. A servant comes to tell Lady Macbeth that King Duncan is coming to the castle Macbeth is on his way back. Lady Macbeth calls upon spirits to fill her with cruelty. When Macbeth arrives, Lady Macbeth tells him of plans to murder King Duncan.
- "What is the happening in the battle?"
- "Macbeth will be the new Thane of Cawdor. Have the current thane of Cawdor executed." Make the announcement"
- "Right away King Duncan"
- "Macbeth defeated the Thane of Cawdor"
- Act 1 Scene 2 Macbeth is a war hero. The battle has been won, mainly because of the bravery of Macbeth and his friend Banquo. King Duncan orders for the current Thane of Cawdor to be executed and his title given to Macbeth in recognition of his heroic battle.

- ''Thank you Lady Macbeth. You are very kind.''
- This will be your last visit ever! Macbeth will be king soon!
- Act 1 Scene 6 King Duncan arrives with his sons at Macbeth's castle. Lady Macbeth warmly welcomes them and takes them to see Macbeth.

- ''Okay. Let's do it.''
- Act 1 Scene 7Macbeth is worried about killing King Duncan. He decides it is not a good idea. He tells Lady Macbeth she is angry. Macbeth is worried what will happen if he gets caught. Lady Macbeth persuades Macbeth to go ahead with the killing. She makes a plan; they'll wait until King Duncan is asleep, get the guards drunk, kill the King in his bed blame it on the guards.

- ''You are not changing your mind! You will be King! We must kill Duncan!''
