- What is your favourite childhood memory.
- Going to Rottnest with my family
- We are going on a ride, Mum on her purple rusty bike, Vince on his green mountain bike and dad and I are on the tandem. We set off dodging the quokka poo.
- Yay!!!
- Uh! Why did i agree to this?
- Once, on a ride that I particularly remember, my chain fell of my bike. Then for the rest of the ride dad had to pull me along struggling up the steep hills.
- Another tradition is to go for a beach day. So we would ride our bikes down to a beech called the basin, It was beautiful, the water was like a blue crystal. There were so many people there having fun in the water and on the sand.
- We dumped our gear on the sand, popped on our snorkels and ran in, except for mum who was too scared of the cold water. The basin is like a reef so we had to walk across it for a bit then we got to the reef pool.
- The water is so nice.
- Its too cold, I'll come in in a minute.
- We would then put on our snorkels and swim out to the reef, I can remember looking at all the colourful coral and the fish swimming around in their schools. I remember whenever dad saw a cool fish he would tap me on my shoulder.
