- During a New Year’s Eve feast at Jack’s house, a strange figure named Dan paid Jack an unexpected visit. He challenged Jack to a game. Dan said that Jack has to go into the forest and find the mysterious daughter of Lord Bertilak. Then, he has to convince her to give him a ribbon from her hair. If he brings the ribbon to Dan by April 1st, he will win a lot of gold.
- Hey, Jack are you up for a challenge?
- I accept the challenge to go into the forest and find the mysterious daughter of Lord Bertilak, and convince her to give him a ribbon from her hair.
- “What was I thinking? I can’t do this. But, now I have no choice, I have accepted the challenge. That pot of gold will be ice too.”
