- Me and my family like to enjoy celebrating together for Christmas. We give each other presents, eat a good dinner, and go to church to celebrate Jesus's birth. I saw myself when I read about the Christmas tree, every year we put up our Christmas tree and decorate it with lights and ornaments.
- Hanukkah is the Jewish festival of lights. It is 8 days and 8 nights long. Each night of Hanukkah one candle is lit on the menorah. The children are playing with a dreidel in the picture above. How Hanukkah is a window to me because I have some friends who celebrate Hanukkah, though I never knew the details. This activity helped me learn more about Hanukkah.
- Pancha Ganapati is a Hindu holiday. The holiday honors Lord Ganesha, the guardian of culture. This festival is about new beginnings and fixing old mistakes. Pancha Ganapati is a door to me because I've never heard of it before, and I think I should take the time to appreciate it. I hope sometime I meet someone who celebrates this holiday so I can learn more about from their perspective.
