- YAY OK, we're going to need to put the dry ingredients and the wet ingredients in separate bowls
- I'll handle the dry ingredients; you handle the wet.
- Now that we have everything we need and we've pre heated the oven to 375 degrees F we can start making the cookies. Always preheat your oven when baking anything so that it is ready for you.
- In my bowl with dry ingredients, I will whisk in my flour, baking powder and salt together
- In my bowl I have creamed my butter and sugar together until smooth, now it's time to add my egg, vanilla.
- I finished beating the eggs in and vanilla, now you can gradually add in the dry ingredients while I mix then we can mix in some chocolate chips.
- Now that we have mixed everything, we can start shaping the cookies and putting them on the baking sheet.
- And because we put parchment paper on the baking sheet the cookies won't stick.
- We should make sure to space out the cookies, so they have enough space to expand and not attach to each other
- Now let's get these in the oven for 15 minutes
- Make sure you always have oven Mits on when removing things from the oven to avoid burning yourself.
- Also be sure to stand to the side as you open the oven to avoid the heat in your face.
- Alright, it's been 15 minutes, let's get these bad boys out
- I got my oven Mits on and I'm ready to go.
- I'm going to do the dishes while we wait for the cookies to cool off.
- I always clean the dishes from least to most dirty.
- And always make sure I was the knives separately, If I don't there's a possibility of me or someone else being cut, and I want to prevent that.
- I can't wait to try them once they've cooled off.
