In his moment of distress, he hears a mysterious voice.

- Perseus travels to the location of the three sisters to take their sole eye. He hides in the bushes until one of the sisters accidentally drops the eye, which he then snatches. After asking them for Medusa’s location, they reveal where she resides, and he returns their eye to them.

- Falling Action Resolution
- I’m going to take you down, Medusa!
- Resolution: Perseus arrives at Medusa's cave while she and the three Gorgons are asleep. Using Minerva's shield and a curved sword, he swiftly decapitates Medusa. He then takes her head and hurries out of the cave.Conclusion: When Perseus returns to the castle to deliver Medusa's head, he finds that his mother is being held captive by the king. Upon presenting the head, the king turns to stone and dies.
