- Johnny said to PonyboyStay gold, Ponyboy, stay gold... the pillow seemed to sink a little, and Johnny died (Hinton 148).I picked this because it was the last moments that Ponyboy had with his best friend.
- The text mentions 'I had it, I stopped him, I killed bob' (Hinton 165). I chose this scene because he said he killed bob but he didn't and he was just trying to take the blame for Johnny.
