- galileo galilei was in pisa, tuscany on february,15th 1564
- i discovered the telescope and found that the sun doesn't revolve around the earth ! instead it is proven by me that the earth revolves around the sun. i had to let the world know as soon as i found out, but the church wouldn't allow me to.
- i was held prisoner in a home given to me , for the rest of my life so i wrote science books
- the church didn't approve of sharing my discovery that the earth was in motion because of interference of information with the bible. they wanted me to state that what i discovered was a theory of mine to the public eye but i couldn't let that be.
