- Mario discovers Chester and keeps him as a pet. Chester, Tucker Mouse, and Harry Cat start an unlikely friendship.
- Slayt: 2
- Mario goes to Chinatown for a cage for Chester. He meets Sai Fong who tells him about how crickets are special.
- Slayt: 3
- Now enough of that stalling. You have money.
- Tucker has money?
- I have my life's savings.
- Chester accidentally eats a 2$ bill during a dream. He gets caught and in trouble but Harry and Tucker end up bailing him out.
- Slayt: 4
- Tucker, Chester, and Harry accidentally set the newsstand on fire. Mama Bellini is angry but when she hears Chester's song of sadness she begins to feel better.
- Slayt: 5
- Mr. Smedley discovers Chester's singing ability. He writes an article about Chester. This draws tons of crowds to the newsstand to hear Chester perform. Chester is famous.
- Slayt: 6
- Harry shouted that Chester should take care of himself-Tucker told him not to worry about the Bellini's, he would look after them- and Chester just kept chirping goodbye as long as he could.
- Chester is unhappy with all his fame and decides to go back to his home in Connecticut.
