- Odysseus ask why the fish are sad and why they weep they say because they can not see out of this dark murky water they live in
- Climax
- The fish ask Odysseus to get them some light and he accepts but he does want something in return the fish said they will give him something very speical in return. so he sets out on a journey to mt. olympus. The fish thank him
- Falling action
- Odysseus finally gets there and he tells Apollo that he has journeyed far to request some light from him. Odysseus tells him its for some miserable fish that live in dark murky water. Apollo wonders why he would listen to a mere fish and declines his request for light. Odysseus wasnt going to give up tho

- So when apollo left to drive the sun over the sky Odysseus stole some light from Apollo.
- Odyssues puts the light in the water for the fish making luminous water and the fish are able to see. After the fish thank Odysseus for bringing them the light he ask the fish for that speical reward in return. The fish say the gift they will be giving him is to not tell Poseidon that he was the one who put the light in the water.
- Once Posidon came and asked the fish why the light was there they said Apollo gave it to them just like they told Odysseus they would. Odysseus didnt say anything because he knew he had just gotten tricked but also spared.
