- according to the document set In England knights were expected to live by an honor code which contained virtues like honor,honesty and charity and this honor code the knights followed was called CHIVALRY
- There were many virtues in the honor code chivalry that was an important value but one that stood out to me was charity the reason why is because when knights were given land the leftovers the knights had were given to the peasants from the knights
- Charity connects to our society today because the inspiration of charity has changed companies,people,and the world to give to the need so charity has made the world value charity
- So we have the choice to either support a company that has a negative impact on the environment or a company that values virtues like charity with the power of our dollar
- At TOM'S our guidance in this store is charity with the ONE FOR ONE TM model it allows us to give back to the community so that we have a good community
- I heard that TOM's values many things but the thing that sticks out to people the most is the fact that TOM's gives back to the community just like what the honor code chivalry expects knight to do and since they've been doing this they have gave over 2 million dollars to 43 communities just like the knights they gave back to their community in need
