- Matilda's father don't let her to go to school. He thought that Matilda is mediocre, it made Matilda very perplex. But Matilda still want to go to school. Matilda then play pranks to her parents, hoping that they would let her go to school.

- When Matilda was five and a half, she finally go to school. When she arrived at school, she found out that the is splendour, she's really fondness for the school. She totally immersed herself at the school. She met a teacher, Miss Honey, who is very kind. And she also met the principal, Miss Trunchbull.

- Matilda is a genius. Her expertise is studying. Everyone awe-inspiring to her. Gradually, she became an epitome of their class. And she found that she had magic powers. She was in the perch of the school, at the recess, many students flock to her classroom to meet with her.
- At Miss Honey's home

- Miss Trunchbull was very harsh to the children. Her order is overwhelming for the children. All the children are terrified except Matilda. Everyone tried to avoid her in the school.
- Everyone hate Miss Trunchbull including Matilda. So Matilda used her magic power to let Miss Trunchbull feeling distraught. She used her magic powers to tip Miss Trunchbull's water jug which got a newt in it. Her powers scared Miss Trunchbull, so she stop being hard to students.
- The police found out that Matilda's parents have been selling stolen cars. And Matilda and Miss Honey reached a consensus that they lived together. In the end, Matilda and Miss Honey find their happy ending. As her parents drive away, never to be seen again.
