  • Alright! Today's the day I will interview my family regarding their memories and experiences of the important moments of their Christian lives. But first, let me tell you my stories.
  • Sacrament of Matrimony is a sacred thing my son. This is a gift from God that your Dad and I should be thankful because it gave us three beautiful children to raise and guide towards God.
  • The first time I saw your mom, I said to myself that she is the one that I will marry, to start a family with, and to grow old with. Marriage is not a walk in the park, problems will arise, but with the grace and blessing of God the sacrament of matrimony will bring the true meaning of being married to your mom.
  • I was always curious to why the people are receiving a circular bread in the Communion part of a Holy Mass. When I was a Grade 4 student, I learned and understood the reasons and importance of receiving the Body of Christ. At the day that I received the First Holy Communion, I was nourished and enlightened by the presence of God and Jesus and it is a spiritual gift that strengthens my faith in God.
  • When the day came for me to be baptized, I was nearly not baptized because there was a confusion on the time and all of the babies were already baptized except for me. My parents requested the parish priest if I can still be baptized because everything was set for that day, and all of the guests were already invited. Fortunately, I was still baptized, and it was special because I was the only one baptized inside the church in Saint Joseph, Pacdal, compared to the others, who were baptized in a chapel.
  • I remembered that Confirmation is like Ash Wednesday. Instead of using ashes, the bishop used an oil to mark the shape of the cross on my forehead. With that experience, I felt the presence of God and the Holy Spirit even more and it made me feel closer to the Church.
  • I was nervous when it was my turn to talk with the priest, but nonetheless, I calmed and prepared myself to talk with him. I spoke honestly and felt regretful to the wrong things I have done. I asked for fogiveness then the priest told me ways on how I can improve myself. From that experience of Reconcilation, I really felt relieved or at peace again.
