- I let out a big sigh and find no open seats in the cafeteria. I ask the popular girls, "Hey uh-uhh-uh c-c-can i sit with you guys"

- Bad thoughts overcame my mind while they said this. Why can´t I be good enough? Why is my life not like other girls? Why does this happen to me? I hate myself!

- Two girls from the bathroom begin to walk out as they see Ella crying in the corner.
- This shows that Ella is very shy and probably feels unwanted. This is because no one invited her to sit with them, she had to do it, she didn't have any friends to sit with. She was lonely and felt like she only had herself to talk to. However, today Ella gained the confidence to talk to the "popular girls" and ask to sit with them. She does stutter a bit from being nervous they'd reject her, but she's proud of herself that she did it.
- Actions
- Ella decided that she needed to do something about her current situation so she took action to change it. She went to go talk to the popular girls once again.
- This scene shows how Ella thinks poorly about herself based on other peoples opinions. The words other people say impact her mindset in a majorly way and since people usually say negative things, her thoughts are usually negative. Ella´s character trait would be shameful. She is embarrassed of herself and has no self-confidence, leading to her being negligent and non social towards people.

- Ella walked up to them with an insisting face ready to take on any challenge.
- This shows how Ella can be seen as someone who isn´t wanted in her grade. Nobody would help her feel better or cheer her up when they saw her crying The girls just walked away because they didn´t want to mess with her and/or take away their time to help her. People don care about her as much as they do with other people. This character trait would be defeated, she is defeated because thereś nothing else she can do for herself. She is helpless just sitting their being vulnerable on the floor.
- Summary
- This shows Ella taking action because she decided she needed to make a change and actually did something about it. These actions prove that Ella is determined. She is now determined to fight back and not just stand there and take all the bad things their saying to her.
- Ella walked into the cafeteria more confident than ever, Her walk was calm and in a perfect rhythm. Her hair would bounce on her shoulders perfectly from time to time. The character trait is confident and this is the most she has ever felt that in her entire life.

- Overall, Ella is your average unpopular teenager that has very bad social skills. However as time goes on, she becomes more confident in herself, and believes she can do anything. She stand up for herself and makes her life 10 times better.
