- Yeah, I’ve been getting bullied but I just can’t seem to stand up for myself and if I do, I don’t think it’s going to make a difference because I feel like they’re going to bully and laugh at me more.
- Hey, I recently noticed that you were being treated unfairly by that group of people. How come you don't stand up for yourself?
- Well.. Have you tried telling an adult or a legal guardian about this? Or do you know why they’ve been bullying you?
- I couldn’t tell anyone about it because the bullies threatened me not too. No, I don’t know why. I think I was just their target for picking on me.
- Okay, let’s go on a walk so we don’t have to sit on the bench all day. To start off, How and when did they start bullying you?
- They started bullying me about 2 weeks ago during recess at school. I was just on my phone when they started pushing me and calling me mean names. I don’t think the teachers saw me either.
- I’ll be glad enough to help you with this situation with a few tips. To begin, I think it’d be a good idea to tell a trusted teacher about this first. After you tell a trusted teacher, you could make new friends and start to hang out with them so the bullies don’t pick on you when you’re alone. If that doesn’t help, tell a counselor about this. It may seem uncomfortable but it’s worth a try. I’m sure the bullies would have a talk with those teachers and counselors. They’ll eventually deserve the punishment they deserve.
