- Hello students I am Mr. Norman the Geologist and today I will be going to teach you about the Rock Cycle. I will take you on a tour around the world to show you just how magnificent the rock cycle is!
- I have teleported us to a newly erupted volcano the magma you are seeing will be a crucial part of the rock cycle.
- Now that the magma has cooled off, we can see that it has turned into igneous rock, We will be coming back to this exact place later on.
- Due to weathering my dear students, I have taken you to this lake to show you a sedimentary rock. I found this at the river bed, It is the product of centuries of weathering by this river.
- What I have here my students is metamorphic rock we are in a special cave with a lot of heat and pressure, perfect conditions for metamorphic rock.
- Finally we are back from where it all started the igneous rock is melting back to magma, and will cool again forever in a cycle. I hope you enjoyed our little activity today my students lets go back now before we get engulfed in magma.
