- The fillibusters started a war to free Mexico from Spain. The Republican army came out un-victorious. Most of the fillibusters were killed, but some managed to escape.
- The fillibusters made the republican army of lots of different races to help over through Spain. Spain had overwhelmed the republican army causing Spain to get a complete victory
- After the people of through the emperor of Mexico, they made a constitution to really make Mexico its own state. They chose to go with federalism as their choice of government
