The british try to take over india. They try to convert them to christians, and they want to change their traditions. They do not like this, and they are being invaded due to their abundance of resources.
the sepoy indians decide to rebel, and not cooperate with the british. The british then try and directly rule india. the indians, they couldnt shoot the weapons, so they were easy to take over.
Due to the influence of the british, they become 2nd class citizens in their own country. They work, and everything they produce is exported, and their resources are being taken.
