- Halku and his wife Munni lives in a small village . Halku is a farmer . Halku has to give 3 rupees to landlord which he had saved for the blanket . Halku somehow gives the money with a heavy heart.
- The landlord has come to take the money you have saved .
- Then I will have to listen to the abuse from the landlord
- No , I can't .I have been saving it for the blanket to survive in the winter nights
- How will you survive the January nights . Here you go the money

- Why did you come here Jabra???? I am not eating puri and jelebis here!! I told you to stay in your paddy straw.
- Halku could not bear the cold anymore so he lit the fire to warm him up. When he lit the fire, Halku felt great victory against the evil cold wind.By that time Jabra found a bone.
- Halku looks up to see if the sunrise is going to rise soon , He checked if the dipper is over his head .
- Halku heard Crunching and Munching of food but he didn't mind because he thought who would dare to eat the crops when Jabra is around . Jabra went running to the field and went on barking but Halku did not go .Halku again heard Crunching and Munching of food but he got up but then suddenly and cold wing came charging and made Halku sit back near the ashes to make him feel warm.
- Halku was happy that he dont need to stay as farmer anymore and can become a laborer which he can earn for himself. Munni was in grief because they lost the crops.The End
