- Hi! I'm Heinrich Hertz,a German physicist.I proved the existence of radio waves in the late 1880s.I showed my experiments that these signals possessed all of the properties of electromagnetic waves.
- I applied Maxwell's theories to the production and reception of radio waves.The unit of frequency of a radio wave--one cycle per second is named the Hertz,in my honor.
- I used this field theory to assumed that light was an Electromagnetic Wave,and then correctly deduced the finite velocity of light,it was a powerful logical argument of the exixtence of the electromagnetic force field,and that light was a wave like change in the field that propagated with the velocity of light through the other.
