  • Daisy is pleading that Tom and Gatsby stop arguing and that she will just stay with Tom but Tom insists that Daisy really does love him so he tells Daisy to go home with Gatsby thinking that she'll come right back. He's super confident. Daisy's white dress symbolize innocence because Daisy is supposed to be portrayed as an innocent character.
  • Gatsby and Daisy leave Tom's place and Gatsby allows Daisy to drive the car back home. The dark scenery represents lack of happiness.
  • Myrtle sees Tom's car and runs out in the middle of the street to get his attention not knowing that Its Gatsby and Daisy.
  • Daisy couldn't react fast enough so she ended up hitting Myrtle and killing her on the spot, then driving away in panic. Daisy's dress turns red symbolizing that Daisy isn't this innocent girl anymore as she just took a life. Gatsby states to Daisy that if they ever get caught, hen he will take the blame for it and confess that it was him driving. This shows Gatsby's love an dedication towards Daisy.
  • Myrtle is left in her own pool of blood. Mr. Wilson comes out of the building and sees myrtles lifeless body laying on the ground. He feels regret because he is the reason why Myrtle ran out since he threatened to lock her in a room for 2 days after he believes she is having an affair which w know she is with Tom.
  • the Police arrive to the scene and Tom arrives and states to the officers that it wasn't him and that he doesn't know where his yellow car is. We don't see emotion from Tom that much but on his way back home Tom begins to break down and cry.
