- Have you put a deposit on the apartment we decided on?
- I'm sorry I've just been very busy with work.
- Forget! How could you forget I've been reminding you for weeks.
- I'm sure we can figure something out there are plenty of places in the city.
- Great now where are we going to live when our current lease expires?
- In this storyboard I chose a simple argument, this is relatively easy to forgive. Sometimes small arguments in relationships can escalate quickly so it is important to stay calm and forgive for the small things.
- Me too and you never know maybe we find a place even better.
- Ok I can look later in the day.
- Sometimes when something doesn't go our way it is easy to instantly blame the other person without thinking about their side of the story.
- I should still have set reminders it's my mistake.
- Sorry for getting mad at you I understand you have been busy with work.
- Seeing the bigger picture and realizing that there are other options or solutions is also important. This particular couple lives in the city, so it is easier for them to find housing, but it also might be more expensive if they submit an offer so last minute.
- And right near our jobs too!
- The realtor just said there is a place downtown that's super cheap.
- Accepting the situation you are in, but also being willing to help each other out of the problem is a mature thing to do that can help resolve a problem or conflict. Reaching forgiveness at this point is easier than for larger problems.
- Coming to a mutual agreement where you see your faults and where the other person is coming from is important for forgiveness.
- Sometimes mistakes turn out for the better. And while it isn't good to purposely set back plans to see if opportunities arise they might when you least expect them.
