- St Ignatius decided to become a soldier in 1506 in his home town Loyola. He became a soldier and fought in the Spanish army. This made him think less about others and more about himself. Also he always wanted to look amazing and thought he was the best person he knew. This was very different to what he was in hj
- Around 1521 in Pamplona, St Ignatius fought in a battle against france. Which is when Ignatius was then hit by a cannonball and badly injured. The captain in the other army was so surprised by his bravery that he offered to take him back to France to heal him and let him recover, however Ignatius requested to go back to his hometown of loyola to recover there. Ignatius then wanted to change his life and to think more about God.

- In 1535 St Ignatius became a Spanish priest and founded the Jesuit Order. He asked the pope if he could create the Jesuit order and he said not, but Ignatius went back when there was a new pope and he was hesitant but then agreed. After it was approved they started schools, universities and much more. This finished St Ignatius' journey to create the Jesuit society.
