- Today was my first day of third grade. And I was scared. Really scared.
- When I went to the bathroom, my tummy started really hurting. I didn't even want to brush my teeth.
- I told my mom, and she said; "Sometimes new things can be scary. It can make you tummy hurt and make you not feel good."
- And so she gave me a tight hug, told me that she would walk me in. That I could breathe.
- And so we did. We sang to good music. We ate breakfast. My mom made funny jokes, and by the time we got to school. I felt all better!
- And when I got there I saw my friends! I saw my new teacher! And I realized I wasn't so scared anymore. I was... really excited.
- And by the end of the day, I was ready for the next!
