- Welcome to International Roman News, where here in Rome, things are not doing too great. Behind me, you can see Roman soldiers attempting to wrangle Emperor Caligula’s horse, Incitatus, after the Senator broke free and started terrorizing the peasants. Behind me, you can see the remanentes of the Great Fire of Rome. Sources tell us the Ex-Emporer Nero started the fire, which burned 10 Roman districts.
- Over the past years, Rome has been at war with itself so many times, it is almost impossible to count. This has severely damaged our infrastructure and our armies, leaving us virtually defenseless. Further more, military enrollment is down so much that the empower has had to hire mercenaries to protect our borders.
- For a while now, Rome has been facing a great problem. Inflation. The economy has suffered greatly because of this. It has been plaguing us for a while, and now it is out of control.

- Our borders are not much better than the rest of the empire. We are suffering heavy casualties and we are already losing territory to outside invaders.
