- I drink to the buried that repose around us.
- Ugh! ugh! ugh! ugh! ugh!

- The Amontillado!
- True, the Amontillado.
- Montresor is telling Fortunato about the pipe and the Amontillado he has. Fortunato disagrees to go at first but Montresor ends up getting him to go.
- Falling Action
- AHHHHHHH*Chains are rattling *
- Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
- When they get down to the catacomb they share a glass of wine. Montresor sees that Fortunato has a bad cough, Montresor offers to go back up but Fortunato wants to stay down and keep going.
- Resolution
- Montresor chains up Fortunato and is about to build up a wall so he can stay and die down there. Fortunato is now wondering if there was ever Amontillado in the first place.
- Montresor is almost done with the wall and is happy that he got his revenge on Fortunato, he continues to laugh in his face. Montresor then finishes the wall and is about to leave him.
- Let us be gone.
- Montresor walks away, later he calls out his name and is happy when he doesn't get a response back.
- Fortunato! ... Fortunato!..*No Answer*
